2002 Ford F-150 will crank over but not start

My truck will turn over but not start, with the occassional exception. I have replaced the spark plugS, and spark plug wires, replaced the air filter. The battery is good. What would cause this problem?

1st narrow to fuel or ignition with shot of starting fluid
