My truck 96 F150 5.0 will not start, just cranks. NEW (not used) parts as follows:
Fuel pump and filter
Distributor
Module
Crank position sensor
computer

I also swapped coil, and coil wire from a running car, no change. Fuel pump is running.

What I do know is we have no cranking RPM signal

You need to continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-You sure it has a crankshaft position sensor

Swapped coil and coil wire from running car. Same result. No cranking rpm signal. I think there is a short in the wiring from the distributor to the computer.
