See my profile, . Imma CJ guy, do not know your rig well.

Lets try some basics, before we get our undergarments in a bind!

With a voltmeter--test at POS and NEG Battery Posts.

1st Test--Battery voltage, with RIG OFF.

Should be about 1212-1/2 Volts (Not lower)

2nd Test--Battery voltage, when Alternator should be charging---Rig running for this test

Should be AROUND 13.5---15 Volts (if this is definitly higher than Test 1. You are probably charging!

Check fuses--owners manual may reveal additional locations for them.

Check---ALL----of your wires---remove and re-seat to insure good connections----di-electric grease helps too!

Check--remove and retighten all connections you can---EVEN ON THE SOLENOID!

EVEN NEW STUFF CAN BE BAD!

If wire checking, cleaning and tightening, do not work. Have your new unit bench tested at the parts store.

We will investigate fusible links if you fail with these suggestions.

Let me know your outcome
