I have a 1999 Ford Explorer with the ABS Light on. Is there any way to pull codes other then with a NGST Star tester. I know years past you could jump 2 pins and count pulses. Is that not possible on the newer models.

Get yourself one of the obdII scan tools, various prices depending on their complexity,, I think they can be had for less then a hundred bucks, that price can't do the data stream info, but they'll certainly point you in the right direction with your abs issue,, some of the older fords, up to 95, the abs could be read using the eec4 scan tools available, connector was the same for both.
