Hi I have a ford explorer 4x4 2000 the abs comes on just before I come to a complete stop but there is no ABS code

I would check you anti-lock sensors.
I would say having 206288 miles they just might need to be replaced
Here is a sketch showing there location.
(1) Hold down bolt --- re-torque to (62 - 80 Lb/in)
(2) Anti-lock brake sensor.
