Ok it sounds like the fuel pump was burned up by running it to low on gas to many times. What is your question? Thanks.

Is $780 reasonable price for this repair work? Battery should be under 100 so that leaves $680 for the fuel pump. Sounds High.
Also, why did you say "by running it to low on gas to many times." I did not say that and this is NOT the case. Could it be a clogged fuel filter?

Ok no I am not trying to affend you at all but you didn't have a question in your first response. Now about running low on gas too many times I have done this for years and if you run a fuel injected vehicle on the lower end and commonly 1/4 tank or less before getting gas then the fuel pump gets hot and it burns up and quits working so that is why I said that. As for a pluged fuel filter yes that could cause it but if it is pluged it puts a strain on the pump. Now if you do have the pump replaced the filter should be part of the job no question about it so make sure thay do replace the filter. Now as for the price of all the battery being a group 65 it about 96 dollars and about 37.50 to replace it and the fuel pump is about 280 dollars and about 120 to install as it calls for 1.8 hours and then fuel filter at 11.49 and about 45 dollars to install so with that it should cost around 580 dollars so with that yes 780 seems a couple hundred too high. Hope this better answers what you were after. Thanks and have a great day.
