I just replaced my brake pads and as I drove away I noticed some shuddering in my steering wheel as I steered to the left or right. But, as I drove straight
shuddering stopped. Now, as I have continuing to
drive the shuddering has completely stopped altogether.
The dilema has me worried about future wear. I need an educated approach to begin repairs before damages worsen.
I would greatly appreciate an educated answer.

Usually after replacing pads, the brake caliper(s) will "stick" which means it is dragging the pads slightly against the rotor. This would cause vibration when you turn. As you go straight you would feel no vibration, but you may notice it takes more foot on the pedal to accelerate up to speed normally. The caliper(s) may have worked back out after driving it a bit.
