1994 Ford Explorer- Jolts/jumps when in Drive

Hi, I bought my 94 Explorer used from a private seller in June 06. Everything was fine until about 2 months ago. When I am in drive, my truck will lunge forward. About every 3-5 seconds this will happen. The tricky thing is. Only when the truck is warm. I asked one of the mechanics in my family, he told me to have to fuel filter replaced. But now that I've done that. It STILL does it! I don't know what to do? Any advice would be very much appreciated!

If the check engine light has come on get the codes read, Does it idle smooth? You can try a q-tip wet with alcohol to clean the MAF heated wire. Do it with the engine off!
