The car runs great at all speeds and idles fine. There is an intermitten problem with starting. Once in awhile the engine won't start. Doesn't matter whether hot or cold. A quick shot of ether and it fires right up. Fuel pump and filter have been replaced and nothing shows up when scanned. There is pressure in fuel line. Will go for weeks with no problem and then it might happen a couple days in a row. I thought maybe an injector was leaking down but as I said, there's pressure in the fuel line. As a matter of fact, once when it wouldn't start, I relieved the pressure in the line and the car started. I'm thinking it's the fuel pressure regulator but don't want to start repacing parts without knowing what it might be. Today, for the first time, it died while going down the road. A shot of ether and it fired right up and ran fine. Any ideas? Where is eec located?

You might have a sticky EEC relay. If you can hit it with ether and get it to start, could be that it doesnt have any injector pulse due to the relay hanging up, so the computer isnt on so to speak.
