I was just wondering how much a fule pump could cost. I have been having problems with it since June 2008. I went to work yesterday morning and had no problem starting the car. It was really cold in the morning. I got off and started the car. It did run for a couple of minutes and then died. My friend was able to get the car running again. Could that be the fuel pump?

There could be numerous reasons for this. Is your MIL/SES light on/flashing. You need to have the cars computer read for fault codes this will pinpoint for you/us where the fault lies. Have the car read. Most good auto stores do this free. And repost with fault codes
