Our escort began stalling out whenever you would slow down. It was intermittent at first but gradually became worse. It seemed as though it wasn't getting fuel. Once it stalls out, now within a few minutes, it won't start back up. Our mechanic has had it for a month now, trying various things. When it has stalled out, it isn't getting any spark, so he believes it is an electrical problem. He has tried replacing the CCR module (I think that's what it's called), the coil, and the computer. All to no avail. He is now thinking it must be a short somewhere before the module. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed from here?

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing
