What is the secret to removing the tail light lense to replace a bulb in a 1997 Escort?

You don't mention if your car is a hatchback or sedan but either way you have to open the truck or hatchback to gain access to the lens cover screws. Remove the screws and then the lens. Next remove the socket from the lens and then remove the bulb. Replace bulb and reverse the above mentioned.
