They make adapters for inline testing. Contact the local parts store to see if they can lend or rent one to you.

Hi Everyone.

I started this topic some time ago and have an update on the stalling of my 2005 Ford Explorer. Not every time but often when the cruise control is on and I press the '-' (minus) button to slow down the engine may stall. I just reproduced this problem 5 or 6 times this afternoon since there was minimal traffic in my town today. Since I plan on buying a newer car I will mention this issue to whomever ends up with the vehicle.

Just wanted y'all to know.
Thanks for every one`s help!
Tom
