Electrical problem
1989 Dodge Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Help! Went out to start the truck yesterday morining and she cranks but won't fire :( Any help or advice will really be appreciated. I've been on this board for a while, lots of good stuff here but I'm really lost on this one.

First thing I noticed was the fuel pump did not kick on (it's TBI). I found the 12V going on-off-on at the tank with the key in run. Tracing this back further the computer is not turning on the ASD relay.I also had no spark with the timing light during crank.
When I came back to it after lunch we went to test the ignition again but now the pump comes on and she fired right up! I worked with the truck the rest of the day, no problems. This morning same problem so I stole the wifes car to get to work.

I'm pretty good with electrical but I don't know where to start. I guessing this is related to temperature or the moisture in the morning air affecting bad connections?

Matt.

I have a 1994 Chrysler Concorde and the exact same problem. It started right after changing the radiator. Starts without any trouble in the afternoon, but likes to sleep-in each morning. I'm also steeling my wife's car until I figure it out.
