Yesterday my car started up fine and today I went out to start it up and it wouldn't start. All I heard I was clicking noise. Does anyone know what this. Is it something mechanical. Or do I need a Boost off?

If you're hearing a single loud clunk when you turn the ignition switch to crank, it's most likely worn contacts in the starter motor solenoid. New contacts are 20 bucks, but most people just replace the entire starter motor. This always starts out as an intermittent problem and gets progressively worse over a few months.

If you hear a rapid repetitive clicking, that's a weak / discharged battery or cable issue.
