I recently bought a 1995 Dodge Stealth and it ran great up until I changed the oil. The first time I changed the oil it took a good 20 minutes of the engine running before my transmission would go back into any gears. The level was a little low so I added and things have been fine ever since. The transmission was rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago so I haven't been overly worried about the problem. Jump to my second oil change on the car. Now I cant get a read from ATF fluid and I am getting tons of white smoke. I've never noticed and fluid going down or temperature going up. The car has been great outside of oil changes. Any ideas?

I take it you mean transmission oil changes. Read the dip stick on your trans, some Chryslers still need to be in neutral to get the coorect fluid level.I dont recall your car haveing a vacuum modulator, but if there is a vacuum line to the trans it may have one and it could be the cause of the white smoke (engine sucking in trans fluid)
