Does not start

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 3.7. One of the heads got messed up so I changed it. I have compression, I have fire, and I have fuel. It still will not start. There are a few things I would like to test however I need instructions on these things.
1. What should the fuel pressure be?
2. How can I use a vacuum gauge to check for proper valve timing? Where do I connect the gauge?
3. Someone said it may be the computer. How would I know?

The truck will almost start but not quite.

Good evening,

Which side did you check for compression? What was the compression? You need at least 13-150 for compression and all 6 cylinders should be almost the same.

The fuel pressure need to be 50 lbs.

As far as the vacuum gauge, yes. I still use it. Remove the hose from the brake booster and put the gauge there. You should have 18-22 inches of vacuum at idle.

I would also check the injectors. They need a signal from the ECM to allow fuel into the cylinders. You would need a noid light to test and see if the ECM is commanding the injectors to fire.
