will not start I am getting gas and spark?

Hello,

An engine will need spark, fuel and compression to start.
It can also not start due to a faulty sensor, which can send wrong data to the ECM, and not start the engine.
If the no start is happening due to a sensor there should be trouble codes. Is the check engine light illuminated?

Many times the engine will crank but not start due to a faulty crank position sensor.
The sensor is bolted to the cylinder block near the rear of the right cylinder head.
Overtime heat and vibration will cause the crank sensor to loose its calibration and it will start to produce faulty or no signal to the ECM and you will have no start.

You also might want to check engine compression. As a general rule of thumb, you should not have more than 70% difference in compression from the lowest to the highest cylinder.
Compression should not be less than 689 kPa (100 psi) and not vary more than 172 kPa (25 psi) from cylinder to cylinder
