Dodge Neon How to change weather stripping for Trunk

Hi,

I know that changing the weather stripping should be very easy. But I just bought a trunk weatherstripping for Dogde Neon 2005 SXT. I realize that there are a piece of metal in the connection of the weather stripping. I not sure how to separate them and should I apply any glue before I replace the old weather stripping. Can any expert please provide some advice. Much appreciate if can provide a step by step guide. Thanks.
