I recently asked a question about finding the thermostat in my 02 Intrepid with the 2.7L. To day I worked on it and changed the thermostat and afterwards notices that the weep hole from the water pump is leaking also. But then I found another leak! Its coming from another weep hole at the bottom where the motor and transmission connect, I thought it may be a Blown freeze plug, cracked head, or blown head gasket, but theres no water in the oil, and no oil in the water! It starts out as a very slow drip and then becomes a fairly large stream, eveidently as the car warms to temp! Can you tell me what you think my options are? And how hard it will be to fix and how much it may cost? Is there a chance of a bad hose or something simple? And if you can telll me how hard the water pump will be to change, I'd really appreciate the help! Thank You

THe water pump is a somewhat big job. I recommend getting a manual that has step by step instructions and pictures to identify parts. For me to try and explain it via the internet allows too much room for error.

As far as the leak, the only thing I can think of is what you said, a head gasket, intake gasket or freeze plug. Are you sure it is a weep hole?
