I had a car do that to me once, it would do it in idle too though. As you gave it gas it would cut out but rev up again over and over but not constant, more of an intermittant cut off and back up again, as if the engine kept changing it;s mind. All kinds of codes came up. I finally got desperate and swapped any part it could be. Turned out the throttle posituion sensor was doing it. If its only in gear, the valve body in the transe can do this and no codes. A crank sensor reads the torque converter, that is bolted to a flez plate which cracks and throws the whole thing off. Just trying to give you some of my experiences, it's hard without hearing the car. Good luck though. I think a gas pedals speed should be all by itself, it's way too dangerous to put a computer in charge.
