i took out the original casette player of my 96 dodge intrepid, unplugged it from the car and plugged it back in and now the casette player will not turn on neither will the interior dome lights also the electric door locks wont work anymore just from unplugging the stereo. also I checked all the fuses and they are all good.

Recheck the fuses on the end of the dash board. The "interior lights" fuse feeds the memory circuit for the radio's station presets and clock. I can't remember for sure but it might be inside a yellow holder. Most radio models will be dead when that circuit is dead.
