I drove to work, parked did my 14 hrs shift. When I went to start it up turned key got no response. Checked battery, good, put key in run position, then jumped the poles on the starter/solinoid, then drove on home. Okay heres the question. I repaced the ignition switch, no luck, so I started looking for the clutch position switch, but I can't seem to locate it, and my cheapo aftermarket book only calls out for a nuteral safty switch on the automatic trans, it doesn, t reference the manual system at all. So, is there a switch, if so where is it located. I traced the sys. From the firewall down to the tranny. Its not in in, and the system is hydrolic and I can't see the pivot poiunt for the pedalwithout removing the entire plastic formed air duct for the A/C, not my idea of fun. I did feelthe pivot point but could not find any electrical leads attached there. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

When you push the pedal to the floor, where the middle of the pedal hits is where the switch is. You might have to remove the under dash panel to access it but its definitely under the dash. Hope this helps
