Stalls out

Got it fixed (I think). The speedometer sensor was apparently shorting out the 5v that's running through it, causing the PCM to shut down the ignition system.

Dodge place replaced the sensor and I drove it home and to work a couple times, hasn't died yet.

I'm on my second 95 Dakota and I have had many issues with bad wire. I found one bad wire under the fuse box under the hood. I found lots of bad grounds. I found bad wires at the fuel pump. At this point I lost count. You might get lucky with a flash light, just looking for bad or corroded wires under the hood near the distributor.

My husband drove my truck (1988 dodge dakota, auto. Trans.) To work and said it didn't want to shift gears while he was driving. When he pulled into the company parking lot, as soon as he stopped it died. Now it will start fine and idle fine but as soon as you try to put it into drive or reverse it dies. He says it kinda lunges before dying, as a manual transmission will if you don't have the clutch engaged and try to take off. Any advise on what this could be? It's got a 3.9 6 cylinder engine, with around 200 thousand miles.
I tried to post this yesterday, (even left a donation), but I must of done something wrong. Hope its right today!

Purchased in november only repairs made-changed oil, fuel filter, plug wires, altenater, front brake pads.
