I am going to make a trip in my 14 year old Dodge Caravan of about 4000 miles....from Florida to Denver, Co and return and being a woman traveling alone, I would like to put my precious old darling in tip-top condition BEFORE any problems occur on the road. I have always carefully maintained it.
Statistics are: 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.0L, v6 Cyl 126,000 miles, AT, 2WD, no problems with the auto except it had a "died-while-driving" problem that was fixed by cleaning the throttle body and plate, and flushing the injector.
My local Dodge dealer only recommended minor checks but I want to be sure so please recommend a major type maintenance schedule.
