The switch for this motor sends a signal to a body control computer. But this computer controls grounds for a relay, and the relay needs a fuse to operate. The fuse and relay are located inside the engine compartment. This is called an intelligent power module, a sort of fancy name for a fuse and relay location. If you locate it(near battery) and remove the pladtic cover, you will see all the identification information. See the 'site menu' for checking fuses with the proper inexpensive test light. This is step one in all electrical problem solving after, of course the problem is verified. OK Thank the people responsible for helping people like you and I for bringing the information out of the closet.
