On this unit it has a 3.3 engine, auto trans. When it rains sometimes it will start and run for just a few seconds then stop. You can wait about 8 hours then try it and it starts OK. The strange part is that the lights that light up the mileage and shift indicator positions when they come on, when turning the ignition on it will start. If these lights do not come on it will not start. This is the strangest thing I have encountered. Could you please provide some help. Thanks

If it only happens when it rains, check the connections at the firewall and see if any corrosion is showing. Use electrical contact cleaner to clean them out, then some dielectric grease in the sockects
