The car has a check engine, with codes above, the sensor inside the fuel tank with the fuel pump that has the floaty to detect how much fuel is inside the car has been changed, no idea what the problem could be now, could it be wires or the fuel pump itself?

Gauge Cluster on E with a check engine even though car has half a tank of gas.

Hi,

I went through each code. Both are related but for somewhat different reasons. The one parallel I found is both indicate an open circuit between the sender and gauge. With that in mind, I suspect that is what we are looking for.

I attached the descriptions and diagnostics below related to the two different codes. Both require a scan tool that is bidirectional and can communicate with the vehicle. I'm not sure if that is something you have available to you.

Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them or if you have questions.

Take care,

joe
