First attempt- after bleeding multiple times, the only gear I could get to actually pull or do anything was fourth gear? So, I decided to take the transmission back apart I inspected everything it looked fine tried to (bench bleed) the reservoir and even hooked up the transmission line while the transmission was out and pumped the slave cylinder by hand. After bolting the transmission up my pedal was going to floor so I pumped 30-40 times just messing around trying to get pressure on the pedal which finally got pedal I finally had my wife pump it 4-5 times hold it and I would open the bleeder valve did that until I finally got a good solid stream shooting out. So, I finally tried it again and still only gear I have is fourth and the truck still doesn't pull in any other gear but makes a weird sound when you let out of pedal in gear? I was driving down the interstate at 80 MPH when all of a sudden, the truck just quit pulling. I originally thought the clutch had gone out, so I bought a new clutch. When I observed my clutch and the new clutch, I couldn't tell a difference. So, I knew it was something else. I looked up into the bell housing of the transmission and saw a rubber boot that was dry rotted and a metal spring that was completely out of the rubber boot so I couldn't get the old transmission line off so ended up cutting it off and replacing reservoir and line. I'm really confused. Please help
