The lights are on because there's a problem. Resetting a computer won't make it go away.

There is at least one diagnostic fault code memorized in the ABS computer that will lead the mechanic to the circuit or system with the problem, not the specific part. Doing anything to the computer could erase the code and that valuable diagnostic information will be lost.
Once the problem is repaired, the mechanic will use their hand-held computer to erase the codes. That will turn the lights off.
