Got used PCM from junkyard how do we reprogram key fob?

The key fob is not related to the Engine Computer. You need a Chrysler DRB3 scanner to retrieve the four-digit PIN from the old Engine Computer. Then to program it into the replacement computer.

The DRB3 walks you through it. You press the menu choice to read the PIN. That puts it in the scanner's memory. Remove the old computer, plug in the new one, then select the "learn" function to put the PIN into the new computer. We just did this at a friend's shop last week, also for a 2005 model.
