Electrical problem
2004 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Somedays when trying to start, when turning the key, it takes like 3-4 seconds for the starter to kick in. Then it starts not problem. Any idea what this might cause? Plus any reason why the airbag icon would be on? I brought it in to check the airbag thing out, and they seemed to had fixed it. Only for it to come back on about a month later. And now there stinkin warenty is up. (Figures)

As far as the starter, do some testing at the starter relay, when problem occurs. Terminal 11 is hot all the time. Terminal 9 goes hot with key in the crank position. Terminal 7 is ground for coil side of relay, controlled by the pcm. Terminal 10 goes hot when the relay is energized. Any testing make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
