Can you tell me why I have transmission problems when it is very cold outside. If my car sits outside overnite I get in it and put it in reverse and then when I put it in drive it will not go. (Or vise versa )
Once the engine warms up I have no trouble at all.
I have noticed some leaking of transmission fluid on the ground but this happens whether the fluid is low or not. I generally let the car warm up for 10 minutes or so and it is fine.

The tranny fluid is possibly too low. Please check. The vehicle may need to be on in neutral. I dont know the procedure for checking that vehicles trans fluid. Just checking it while off can be giving a false reading. You may think it has enough but in reality it doesnt. So you have to be careful with this
