Can you tell me why I have transmission problems when it is very cold outside. If my car sits outside overnite i get in it and put it in reverse and then when I put it in drive it will not go. (or vise versa )
Once the engine warms up I have no trouble at all.
I have noticed some leaking of transmission fluid on the ground but this happens whether the fluid is low or not. I generally let the car warm up for 10 minutes or so and it is fine.

the tranny fluid is possibly too low. please check . the vehicle may need to be on in neutral. I dont know the procedure for checking that vehicles trans fluid. just checking it while off can be giving a false reading . you may think it has enough but in reality it doesnt. so you have to be careful with this
