Suspension problem
1984 Chevy Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I own a 1984 Chevy 20 tahoe and every time I get into the car it sounds like the suspension squeaks but only on the front axel; and the same thing happens when I hit a bump or turn the wheel. I tried to correct this by putting grease on the back of the wheel well. I think the problem could also be the bushings. Is there a way to stop the aquecking with all purpose grease?

Please Help

Hi:
It sounds like bushings to me too. The only thing you could try is spraying a penetrating oil on all bushings to see if that stops the noise. Other than that, they will need replaced. Make sure the ball joints are greased.
