need help

i have a 88 chevey g20 conver. van .my problem is the front end shakes with i hit the brakes i have had new brakes,rotors but on it to try to stop it the steering wheel will shake a little bit too when i hit the brakes please help me

Worn/loose Steering linkages, worn and loose wheel bearings and ball joints can cause the shaking and steering wheel vibration...on an 88 with high mileage I would look for a combination of the items i've mentioned.
