1998 cavalier car door issues

1998 chevy cavalier 123,000 2.4 liter

My car doors were frozen this morning, and I had to force my passenger side door open from the inside, now my door will not latch and stay shut. What can I do to fix this problem..

Check your latch, check to see if the latch has closed, if so lift the door handle up at the same time use someting like a pen and open the latch, recheck operation, let me know please.
