I replaced the fuel pump recently and had no issues(3rd one). I went out in the morning to start and engine cranked but would not start. I found a broken post on the battery and replaced it and the truck started right up. It ran for a few days and then again I went out to start it and it would crank but would not start. I checked the fuel line pressure and it was right at 59-60 psi. I went out later in the day to try it and it started right up. I let is warm and then shut it down. I tried starting it up today and again it won't start. Any ideas?

Hi nicecoach
Let's do some testing what about an ignition problem? Next time it won't start pull a plug wire see if you get spark. Also any engine light on? If so go to Auto Zone they will code then post.
If you have spark spray carb cleaner in throttle if it fires may have a component problem.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks for donation

I did pull off the coil wire and it did have spark. The engine light had been on for some time and had it coded as a O2 sensor. The light has been off now for a month. Last time I tried to start it, it sounded like it was firing on one cylinder, enough to keep it spinning but that was it. I will confirm the spark tonight as well as shoot some carb cleaner, thank you.

It's a mystery. I tried to start later in the day and fired right up. It's been running great ever since.

Glad to hear of the miracle. I'll stay on standby just by just in case.
