1989 Chevy Truck cherry bomb

I recently bought the loudest muffler made by cherry bomb for my truck...it has the 350...so it should be loud but to my disappointment, it was no louder than the stock system...even the muffler shop couldn't tell me why...please help...thanks...

Sounds like you may have a partially plugged cat converter. Have them install a "test" pipe where the cat goes and it should get plenty loud. Also remeber that the more tail pipe you have the more it will mellow the exhaust note
