I have a 1998 s-10 Blazer that runs great. But sometimes after I shut it off, it will not start. When it does this the fuel pump will not run. There is spark and so forth. If you rock the key a couple of times then the fuel pump will run and you can start the engine. The Blazer will not give a code, has been hooked up to a hand held scanner and a Snap On scanner, All systems pass including fuel pump pressure. I've dropped the tank, inspected wires and plug ends, regulator also passed test. I am thinking that it may have a bad ignition switch. Please help, don't want to start thowing money at it.

Yup sounds like a switch, you can double check power at the pump, you should have power for 2 sec thats the prime, it sounds like you have done the right thing and checked the pump pressure
