While driving down the road or just sitting still when you turn the steering where there seems to be like a burr or something catching when you turn the wheel it has new axles, new ball joints, new shocks and new wheels and tires just replaced the power steering high pressure hose what could be causing this could it be a faulty power steering pump i've been told might have something to do with the gearbox is that a possiblity as well I still owe almost $5500 on this truck and can't trade it back in right now so what could be my problem thanks Bobby

A stiff part of the steering when turning back and forth can be verified as a steering gear or gear box as the shade tree mechanics call it, if it is stiff in the same place every time the wheels are turned. If the nut that holds the torque preload was adjusted accidentally that is definitely the problem.

The other possibility is a sticking steering mechanical component. Outer tie rods can rust internally and cause a stiff turning problem, but very rarely.
