2004 Chevy Suburban light steering

I had a 2002 yukon, Now 04 suburban with same problem the steering so light it feels like you dont have control and uneven roads and wind makes worse you are always correcting is this a known problem or just my luck? Thank You

Hey try checking out ur gear box
i had the very sim. Problem on a caprice classic
it had to much play on the steeringwheel and it was kind of loose and very sentative?
Or try bleeding the system
