My Suburban has a habit of not cranking after I have run several errands on hot days. The radio will play and the horn blows, but absolutely nothing when I turn the key, not even a click. The engine does not turn over at all. This does not happen during the cool months. When it occurs the guage reads normal temp. Sometimes if I wait 30 minutes to an hour it may suddenly start again, but lately I have had to get a jump when it won't start.

I have replaced the battery, cleaned the battery cables, and replaced the starter.

Any suggestions?

Try shifting to neutral, or forcing the shifter upward when starting it, the neutral saftey switch could be going bad. Or the ignition switch. Shift linkage can be out of adjustment too, NSS and linkage would more likly be affected by temp, but if there is a short in the ignition switch, it will heat up too.
