I pulled the dist. And backed it up and the mark I made as reference when I pulled it is right on but now it just cranks and fires very little. Should I try the other direction or do you think I'm 180 off. Again it idled perfect before. The timing marks are lined up and I am almost positive the dist didn't move while out. This is a great forum and I will paypal as I love to work on cars but need help sometimes when my Chilton books don't cover certain tricks of the trade. Thanks again.

Sorry for the late reply.

I don't know year of vehicle, don't know if your timing is adjustable? It could be 180 degrees off. It could be other issues.

I realize this is an old post. Back then the site didn't have many moderators, they worked full time jobs and answered questions when they could. They have many moderators now, I think they are very knowledgeable. I realize you probably don't even own this vehicle any more, but, in the future, if you have a vehicle problem, don't forget this site. It's free to ask a question. The moderators are encouraged to post wiring diagrams where applicable, it's free.

Have a good day.
