I am having trouble with my trouck starting when it is cold. In the morning or when it has sat for an hour or so, it cranks over fine, but just wont catch. I am forced to use starting fluid, which works and then the truck runs fine. As when it I start it still warm. I have new battery, cables, spark plugs and wires, new distributor, new ignition coil, new fuel filter and fuel pump. Have been told it may be crank sensor or cam sensor. Has anyone else run into this problem and what was the solution?

Even though you have a new fuel pump and filter, have you checked fuel pressure? You may have a bad regulator. Infact, pull the vacuum hose off the regulator to see if there is any gas in the vacuum hose.

Let me know.

Joe
PS: IF you need directions for testing fuel pressure, let me know.
