It may have jumped timing on the timing chain/gears. The other possibilities are that the crankshaft position sensor, CKP or the camshaft position Sensor, CYP are failing or have failed.
It might be a good idea to check to see if the fuel pump relay is working. When the key is turned to the, "ON" position it will turn on the pump for 2 seconds to prime the sytem. Have somone crouch near drivers side of tank near the pump and turn the key to the "ON" position and no further. They should hear the pump making, a "Whirring" noise. They may have to move around a bit to hear it but it will prime th esystem every time. If you are not sure it is priming check the plugs to see if they are wet. Then have the fuel pressure checked. Adancve Auto or Auto Zone have fuel pressure test kits on a loaner basis. They come with adapters for the test port on the fuel rail.
