1990 Chevy Silverado I need help!!!!!!

Ok here is my problem my truck was over heating really bad only to find out we had to get a new water pump so thats fixed now when we drive the truck it dont over heat at all now. So when we drive the truck even a short distance and we got to turn it back on right after it will not start I have to wait for atleast 30 mins if not longer for it to start. Its not over heated at all about 150 degrees at the most I dont know what it could be. Some one said a blown head gasket??? I dont know I need help A.S.A.P. I dont know if it is a censor or what but please help me out. Thank you all for looking.

Do you have any code's?When it won't start does it crank no start?Or no crank no start?Also do you have a multimeter?

Ok when I go to turn it on it makes like a clicking sound like it wants to go on but it wont. I dont know much about this stuff so sorry if I dont know what some of the thigs are what is a mulitmeter? Everything goes on the radio, lights everything it just wont star.

Ok if your starter just click's and the engine doesn't turn over you could have a bad starter.But i would have your battery tested and make sure your battery cable's are clean and tight.Also have your alternator tested.A multimeter is what is used to measure volt's and ohm's in a circuit.It is what you would use to figure out why your truck doesn't start when it's hot.You would have to have someone who knew how to use one to check the truck when it was hot and not turning the engine over.But first have those other thing's checked then worry about the other stuff.
