My service engine light came on about 2 days before I was driving down the road and the engine started to sputter and then it just quit on me. I try to start it up and it tries to turn over but it wont. I have good spark and have changed the fuel filter. I checked the fuel pressure and it reads 60psi when I turn the key on but as soon as the pump shuts off it drops down to zero. Any ideas about what the problem could be?

when the fuel pump is turned off the system should still hold pressure (residual pressure) for several minutes. if the pressure drops quickly after pump stops then you may have a leaky fuel line, leaky fuel pump check valve, leaky fuel pressure regulator or one or more leaky fuel injectors.
