Is there a trick to removing the spark plug wires from the spark plug or do you just pull ive tried a straight pull but they did not come off and I don't want to break anything

I have the same 98 s10 as u. U will need to take off the a/c off then u can get to the plugs. But dont just pull on them. U need to twist the pulg wire then pull but not to hard. The wire should come right off
