Electrical problem
1997 Chevy S-10 Two Wheel Drive Manual 150, 00 miles

Truck drove great yesterday. Parked it and it won't restart. Sometimes interior lights come on but when clutch is depressed light goes off and engine wont even turn over. No sound what so ever. Won't jump because battery is not dead. Don't know if it is electrical or clutch problem or other. Please help.

Hi, thanks for the donation. I'd have to make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. Any testing, make sure the tranny is in neutral and a functional e-brake is set. The purple wire at the starter solenoid S terminal, should be hot with the key in the crank position. You could have an issue with the clutch switch? Some of the national brand autostores will test the starter for you, if you take it off and take it to them.
