1997 Chevy S-10 starts by itself

I was in the house and heard car starting went outside and my 97 s10 blazer was was trying to start by its self the key was still in the off position but the engine was turning over had to take battery cable off and when I put it back on it still trys to start thought it might be the solenoid switch but when I changed it it didnt help put battery cable back on and still turning over could it be the ignition switch please help im lost here

You sure its not a ghost? Okay if you have a remote start have it checked out to include the ignition switch.

No remote start and I unpluged the ignition switch and when I hook battery cable back up it still turns over

Inspect the battery cable/terminal at the starter could be grounding out on the starter solenoid.

Disconnect the battery and then find the ignition switch connector-disconnect it-hook up battery is it cranking the engine over?

Yes it still turns over when I hook cable back up

Better double check the starter solenoid if its sticking closed it 'll do that.
